My first blog...
I've tried to maintain one a couple of years ago, but I was too ambitious (I wanted to maintain all my posts in three languages, which is simply too time-consuming).
I use "Old European" as my blogger name, and you may still find some traces of it here and there on the internet, mainly in comments on the blogs and sites that I follow regularly (check out my commented links page). But the sitename as such was already taken by a German blogger. Hence, I took the next best name I could think of: gold dillettante.
This blog will be about gold (and silver), the monetary system, the economy and cultural views thereupon.
Feel free to leave your comment, as long as you remain polite and respectful. I have no problem with differing views and opinions. I even welcome them, since differing views help us in developing our own. But, to use a soccer metaphore: "play the ball, not the man".
